Adjusting to 4

Thanks for the trains auntie Linsey, one less thing to fight about is bath time!
Hope this counts as tummy time/play time.

It has been a challenging adjustment the last week or so. The steam engine that is our life wants to keep rolling along but our 7lb friend has caused some confusion and delay despite being a generally good baby with little spit up and pretty good sleeping. (One hitch is she sleeps during the day and wants to hang out for a few hours at night while I would prefer to be sleeping.) Mommy is learning to adjust. Someday perhaps Daddy will learn to say no but for now he couldn't resist a new position where he gets to interact with tons of people from all over at the Broadview office. John is having the toughest time adjusting. It is hard to go from spoiled to learning to wait for things & from full time day care to being home with mommy. We do think John enjoys his time home but he has regressed in behavior and with using the potty.

Today was a good day with the promise of a cookie afterward John cried himself to sleep instead of refusing a nap altogether despite time-outs and spankings for getting up. Harolding the camp of positive reinforcement I made a sticker chart to try with the potty tommorow!
