The Park district put together a ride on the metra with storebook reading, visit from santa, and a snack that our family couldn't stomach prepackaged donuts and chocolate milk. However, it was nice to spend some time focused on John before Therese comes. He was very interested in giving everything he had to santa this year. We will wait to tell him generally Santa is about getting because it was pretty cute to see him offer his enjoy life bar and jingle bell to bewildered guy in the red suit.

Loved the pictures. John is looking more like a young boy and not a little boy. That is probably because he is about to become a big brother and he keeps his pants dry all day.
I am glad he saw Polar Express so it might have meant more to him to go on this ride with the other kids.
He is so precious, I LOVE him so much.
I hope John always feels it is better to give than to receive.
